Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

The beast that comes out of the sea is the same papal system that has been described in Daniel 7th, Revelation 12th, and Revelation 17th. This beast has the same characteristics of the beast which represents Rome in Revelation 12; there is no doubt why the Catholic Church is called the “Roman Church.”

Revelation 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Note that this beast is composed of various animal parts. In fact, these animal parts are the same animals that we saw in the book of Daniel chapter seven. This means that this beast has qualities of the Babylonians, Med Persians and Greeks; but the most important detail we can see, is that the dragon gave this beast all his power and authority. In other words, the papacy obtained his throne, power and authority directly from Rome. See Daniel 7 and Revelation 12.

Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

The mortal wound that the papacy received was the one caused by Napoleon Bonapart in the year 1798 when he sent his general, Berthier to take the pope prisoner where he died in exile. The bible says:

Revelation 13:9-10 If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

The must important part of this verse says that “his deadly wound was healed”. Here is where every Christian needs to focus and pay attention to all the Bible has to say for history and the inquisition will be repeated. The deadly wound that Napoleon caused started to heal February 11, 1929 when during the treaty of Mussolini and Gaspari the papacy regained its lost sovereignty and all its property.

Revelation 13:4-8 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

This last part will be totally fulfilled when the deadly wound is completely healed. The appearance of Satan deceiving the world to be Christ will be the signal that the mortal wound has been totally healed. For more information, see Revelation 17.

Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

In the previous chapter, revelation 12, we can see that the church of God obtained the wings of the great eagle and was helped by the earth. From this very same earth, this beast comes out. United States is the nation of the great eagle and land of liberty represented here by a beast which has two horns of lamb, but speaks like a dragon.

• The two horns of lamb mean the political and religious liberty that this country offers.
• And that it “spake as a dragon” means that its political and military power is very potent, even to overthrow other countries from their sovereignty and liberty just like Rome used to do which is represented by the dragon.

Revelation 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Each day, United States adopts laws and establishes doctrines from papal origin and imposes them in its territory, like those famous blue laws which prohibit the aperture of businesses on Sunday and many other laws.  This country will force its people to obey the papacy through the medium of false religion.

Revelation 13:14-15 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Sunday Keepers

The image of the beast, better yet, the image of the papacy are the apostate protestant churches that act and behave the same way as their mother the catholic church, primarily speaking about the sanctification of the false day of worship, Sunday and the immortality of the soul, the believe that when we die we go somewhere, heaven or hell. The protestant churches of North America are uniting with Rome, the papacy, forming a bond of unity between them.

The protestant churches are behaving just like their mother the Catholic Church has done through out the ages; persecuting those who reject their politics, taking them to courts with lawsuits. They unite with the government in an illicit alliance to impose laws of religious character. Yet worse, they try to shut down the loud cry of the third angel’s message.
 
Revelation 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The protestant churches will compel the government to impose the mark of the beast which is the papal system. This mark is not a literal mark like many people think. This is a symbolic mark just like the seal of God also is which is found in revelation chapter 7.

If you pay attention to verse 17th, it says: “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

No body will buy nor sell unless he or she has one of the following three things:

1-Mark 2-Seal 3-Number

Out of these three things, the Bible only gives us the number of the beast, which is 666. With this information, we need to find out and investigate what is the mark and the name; and to do this, first, we need to look at verse 17th:

“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark,
or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

The Bible commands us to count the number and lets us know that the number comes out of the name of the beast. Therefore, we need to find the name of the beast to be able to count the number.

When Constantine, the founder of the Catholic Church gave the tiara as a gift to the papacy, it had an inscription that said “VICARIVS FILII DEI” which means vicar of the Son of God or the substitute of the Son of God.

This is a name of blasphemy just as verse one of this very same chapter told us it would be, Revelation 13:1. Now, we need to test this name to see if we get the number 666 out the name.

The papal system is the beast not because it uses or had used the name VICARIVS FILII DEI in the past, but, because Daniel 7:25 describes it as the religious power that has changed and continues to tread down the law of God.

Daniel 7:25… and think to change times and laws…  

The Catholic Church cannot deny this fact due to the Ten Commandments of God have been changed in their catechisms. Popes worship idols knowing that the Bible prohibits this practice. They make images and honor them even though the Bible condemns it, read Exodus 20:1-18.

If you read the Catholic Catechism and compare it with the commandments of a catholic Bible, you will see that some commandments have been changed and others have been deliberately taken away; specially the commandment that tells us to worship God on Saturday, the true Lord’s day, the Seventh day.

The seal of the law of God is the seventh day rest, Saturday, and it commands us to obey it.

Ezekiel 20:20 And hallow my Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.

The Bible says that if you disobey God at least in one commandment, you are guilty of all; this is the reason why Satan wants to deceive the world with a false day of worship as Sunday.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Now that you know the papacy is the beast, I will proceed to describe the mark of the Catholic Church. I will quote the same scriptures written by the papacy for they themselves say what is their mark:

“Sunday is our mark or authority...the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.” Catholic Record of London, Ontario, September 1,1923.

“If Protestants would follow the Bible, they should worship God on the Sabbath Day. In keeping the Sunday, they are following a law of the Catholic Church.” —Albert Smith, chancellor of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, replying for the Cardinal in a letter, February 10, 1920.

"Protestants… accept Sunday rather than Saturday as the day for public worship after the Catholic Church made the change… But the Protestant mind does not seem to realize that… in observing the Sunday, they are accepting the authority of the spokesman for the church, the Pope.” —Our Sunday Visitor, February 5, 1950.

As you can see, the Catholic Church itself admits that its mark is their false they of worship, Sunday. If you read the whole Bible, you will notice that Saturday is the true Lord’s Day, the seal of the law, and the mark of God’s authority.

Very soon, the State will impose Sunday by law so that every business must close down on the day of the sun.  Doing commercial transactions on Sunday will be prohibited so the people can assist to the false religion of the beast and his image. Those who would obey a law of the State above the law of God will symbolically receive the mark of the beast. Similarity, those who decide to obey God honoring his holy law by keeping the true Sabbath day will receive the seal of God.

This controversy will extend itself through out the world that has been subject to the papacy and it will persecute those who will stand up against the false day established by Rome. They shall be accused of disorderly conduct and for making the people disobey civil laws.

Obedience is what determines whom you serve, God or the beast. You shall forever be distinctively and symbolically marked depending on whom you serve. The important thing is to know what the true commandments of God are so we can obey them and be part of his people.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
