Revelation 17:1-2 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

The woman that you see here is the church of the antichrist, better yet the church of Satan. This woman is the opposite of the holy and pure woman of Revelation 12. See (Isaiah 54:5-6, Jeremiah 6:2, II Corinthians 11:2) But before anything, let’s take a look at some basic clues that we will see here.

• The woman is sited upon many waters. If we read verse 15 from this very same chapter, we can see that the waters mean many tongues, nations, and people. What this is saying is that the church of Satan has many people and is composed of many cultures through out the world.
• The kings of the earth have committed fornication with her. When a man an a woman have sexual relation without being married before God, this act is fornication. The church of Satan has political-religious relations with the kings of the earth that are not approved by God. And due to these illicit relations between Church and State, the inhabitants of the earth are committing abominations to God.

Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

This church has names of blasphemy due to they take the place of God. In other words, they utilize the names that belong to Jesus and God. For example:

• “Maximus Pontiff” – This means maximum bridge. Only Jesus is the maximum bridge between God and men.
• “Holy Father”, “Pope” – The Bible says that we may only address God as Father. Mathew 23:9. Also, Jesus said that there was only one that was good, God who is in heaven. Luke 18:18.
• “The Confessionary” – To confess your sins to a man is sin and it constitutes a blasphemy by the church. Only God can hear and forgive the sins of a sinner.

Revelation 17:4  And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

The colors that the Catholic Church uses are precisely red and purple. They also use the golden cup mentioned here in revelation. This woman is full of pearls and precious stones; meaning, it is the richest church in the World.

Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

The Catholic Church is the church of the mystery. God calls it Babylon because this word means “gates of heaven.” One of the doctrines of the Catholic Church teaches that there is no salvation outside the church. In this way, the Catholic Church teaches that the church is the gate of heaven and only through there we can enter. Jesus said that he is the door, the way, the truth and life. John 14:6. Therefore, the only true biblical meaning of Babylon means spiritual confusion because in Babel God confused their languages.

God also calls it “the mother of harlots” because she has many daughters and they also behave as their mother. Her daughters are all religions that make illicit relations among themselves and the State.

The woman was drunken with the blood of the martyrs due to she has killed the faithful Christians followers of Jesus. The famous “Holy Inquisition” committed in Europe says a lot to us. During this killing spree, the Catholic Church killed thousands of Christians.

Revelation 17:7-8 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

La beast that carries the woman is Rome. We know that a beast in the Bible means kingdom and political power. This is the same beast of seven heads and ten horns of Revelation 12, the same Roman Empire that wanted to kill Jesus as soon as he was born.

The beast “was”, “is not”, and “will be”, because it controlled the world once in the past and then it stopped controlling. But for once more, it will again control the nations and kings of the earth.

• The beast “was” during the times of Papal supremacy since the year 538ac up until 1798 when Napoleon put an end to the Papal Empire and took the Pope prisoner.
• The beast “is not” since 1798 when Napoleon put an end until the year 1929 when the treaty of Mussolini and Gaspari restored the power and properties of the Papacy.
• The beast “will be” means that for one last chance the papacy will regain control of the nations and religions through their new movement called ecumenism. This period of time already began in 1929 when the treaty was signed.
  

Revelation 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

Revelation 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

This city that is mentioned here is the Vatican City, the headquarters of the papal system located in Rome. The Bible says that this city is located upon seven hills. These are the seven traditional hills found east from the Tiber River where Rome is located:

1. Capitolina, 2. Aventina, 3. Palatina, 4. Quirinal, 5. Esquilina, 6. Viminal and 7. Celia.

Revelation 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

These seven kings are seven popes that have been in power in the Vatican, Rome. Since Revelation 17 only talks about the whore city which is the Vatican, we have to count only those popes that have been in power since February 11, 1929 when the papacy regained its supremacy and the Vatican.

Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

The Bible says that the beast itself will be the eighth one. This is Satan himself from which Jesus warned us about that he will come and portray himself as Christ come to earth. The Bible says:

II Thesalonians 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

II Thesalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders…

Mathew 24:23-27 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Satan will promptly appear during the reign of the seventh Pope and will perform many miracles to deceive those who reject the truth of obedience and the law of God. This false christ will heal the illnesses of the people and will expand his lies. In his satanic character and deceiving apocalyptic appearance of Jesus, he will say that the true Sabbath of the law of God has been changed to Sunday. He will proclaim that those who observe Sunday instead of Saturday are doing it in honor of him.  Therefore, those who reject the true Sabbath which is Saturday will follow and worship the beast and his false day of worship, Sunday.

Revelation 17:12-14  And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
